HOW DO I GET TO PROVINCETOWN?

There are several ways to get to Provincetown, MA--air, car, and ferry, or a combination thereof. Provincetown is located on the Northern tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, at the tail end of the "outer Cape."

AIR: Those coming from out of town may choose to fly to Boston/Logan Airport, or to Hyannis Airport on Cape Cod. Cape Air operates multiple daily, scheduled short flights between Boston's Logan International Airport and Provincetown Municipal Airport. You can also drive or connect to a ferry service from Boston.

Another attractive option for those from New York is to fly JetBlue directly from JFK airport or LaGuardia airport to Hyannis airport on Cape Cod and then drive, take a car service, or take a bus from Hyannis to Provincetown.

CAR: For those driving from Boston/Logan Airport, you can take I-90 W to MA-3 S to US-6 E. In brief, once you're on Cape Cod, taking US-6 E to the end will get you there. However, traffic on US-6 E, US-6A E, and MA-28 S can be heavy on holiday weekends.

FERRY: Bay State Cruise Company offers multiple daily fast ferry trips between Boston and Provincetown. MacMillan Pier in Provincetown is within walking, biking, or very short cab distance of the Provincetown Inn. Ferry service is also available from Plymouth, MA to Provincetown.
