Mark Geyer adds Caleb Valentin on Facebook by accident through the "People You May Know" section. Thus begins the start of their story.

Caleb invites himself over to Mark's home to watch Pixar's Luca for their first meeting.

After 2 grueling service week for Mark, Caleb meets him for drink at the Vanguard where he officially asks him out with flowers in hand.

After their first road trip together and some timely conversations with a pair of equally-in-love young women, Caleb and Mark said "I love you" for the first time during a brief moment alone.

Mark runs the 2022 TCS NYC Marathon, the hottest one on record since its move to November. Around mile 7-8, he knew it was going to be a rough day and counted down the miles until he got to see Caleb between mile 17-18. And in the delirium of the heat and humidity, he calculated that if he and Caleb were together on the day of the 2023 Marathon, it would be 26.2 months, in time for another 26.6 miles.

After running a total of 26.2 miles in the New York City Marathon, Mark surprised Caleb with a proposal after 26.2 months of being together. He of course as we all know, said YES!
